Ruby on Rails Lead Developer

Job Location: Munich, Germany or San Francisco, CA, US

Interested in a change from working one project contract after another to a permanent position? Elgato is seeking a Ruby on Rails expert for ongoing development of its new web services. Bring your ideas to the table and be part of shaping the architecture and implementation of this new service.

BSCS or equivalent experience, 4 years web development, 2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails required.

Macintosh Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Location: Munich, Germany

The Macintosh Quality Assurance Engineer will act as a focal point within the company for all aspects of the quality of Elgato’s software and hardware products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and executing test plans and matrixes
  • Maintaining a bug database
  • Tracking escalated issues from technical support until their ultimate resolution
  • Collecting customer feedback into a companywide repository
  • Providing assistance in the production process as needed
  • Keeping the test lab organized and running smoothly


The ideal candidate must be prompt, courteous, competent and responsive. You have an innate desire to "find the answer" when presented with a challenge - and to see the matter to the end. You are the customers’ advocate within the product development process.

You must have previous Macintosh experience and an advanced technical aptitude.

Excellent written communication skills in German and English a must.
